You spoke – we listened. We’re excited to bring some old friends back into the fold with the new City Trees treatment. Banana Kush and Relief (formerly known as Pain) have returned, even better than you knew them.
Adding some tropical flair to our Indica line up, Banana Kush creates its relaxing goodness with a primary terpene blend of Limonene, a-Pinene, b-Caryophyllene, b-Pinene, and Myrcene. This mix makes for a heavy-handed body-focused buzz that’s perfect for lakeside lounging and carefree, flavorful weekends.
We’ve done our best to stay active and well this year, and to keep things moving smoothly, mentally and physically, we’re ready for some Relief – formerly known as Pain. With a blend of CBD, Myrcene, a-Pinene, Linalool, Humulene, and b-Caryophyllene, this City Trees classic gets a warm welcome back from our friends in need of solutions for pain and inflammation.
We asked our Director of Laboratory Operations, Dr. Dominick Monaco about the return of these City Trees classics and what we can expect from them, whether you’ve tried the originals or are just hearing about them for the first time.
What differentiates Banana Kush from your other indica-leaning blends?
This indica leaning blend is a flavorful concoction that is fruit forward, contains a healthy dosing of Limonene and both Alpha/Beta-Pinene so users can stay alert and be focused, while retaining the relaxing “Kushy” effects of an OG.
How do the terpenes and cannabinoids in Relief contribute to pain management?
Our Relief blend is high in THC, Caryophyllene, Myrcene, and Linalool – all of which have shown anecdotal evidence in managing pain. The synergistic effect of these molecules together is what is known as the “entourage effect” and each molecule has a different target owing to the cumulative effect.
Can users expect more physical or mental Relief, or a mix of both?
In this case, because we’ve added the lavender terpene, Linalool, you can definitely expect a healthy mix of both physical and mental relief in those times of need.
